Engr. Gbolaga Muyiwa Akinola is a Civil Engineer and Building Project Management Consultant with over 38 years' professional experience. His professional career as a civil engineer started with one of the leading building and civil engineering companies in Nigeria; Bouygues Construction Nigeria Limited, a subsidiary of the prestigious Bouygues Construction, also a subsidiary of Bouygues S.A., both in France, where he demonstrated excellence with 28 uninterrupted years of active service up to a very high level.

He is a French-trained civil engineer from the Institut Universitaire de Technologie St. Nazaire, France. He is also a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM), and Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

Through his acquired expertise and knowledge, he founded GAK Building Solutions Limited (GBSL) in 2021 as an indigenous construction company with focus on championing a new course for indigenous construction firms in Nigeria. The company has also engaged highly qualified and experienced professionals who have held top positions in prestigious firms in Nigeria.
